Rooted in Love.
A grassroots initiative committed to removing everyday barriers to education for rural schoolchildren in Zimbabwe. We believe every child deserves a chance to succeed.
"Moyo Muti unomera paunoda" - The heart, like a tree, grows where it wants
Moyo Muti is a grassroots initiative based in Zimbabwe, committed to removing everyday barriers to education for rural schoolchildren. We were created to uplift rural learners and ensure that no child's future is defined by poverty or neglect.
The name Moyo Muti was derived from the Shona proverb, 'Moyo Muti unomera paunoda' which loosely translated means 'The heart - like a tree, grows where it wants'. This has become, for us, a symbol of love, rootedness, and growth.
We believe every child deserves a chance to succeed. By addressing basic needs and barriers to education, we create opportunities for vulnerable children to reach their full potential.
Creating pathways to education and dignity
This project aims to provide school shoes to grossly underprivileged children, ensuring they can attend school with dignity and comfort.
This project aims to educate children and caregivers on anti-child marriage laws and the rights of the girl child, helping communities protect and empower their daughters.
Distributes essential stationery and sanitary pads to learners to keep them equipped, confident, and in school.
We are actively seeking grants, donations, and partnerships to grow our impact and reach more children. Whether you'd like to contribute financially, volunteer your time, or collaborate with us — we would love to hear from you.
Together, we can build a future where every child learns with dignity, confidence, and hope.
